Change distance between dashes

I'd like to be able to change the ratio between dash and empty space.  The UI hints that this should be possible, but the "Spacing" property is always disabled?  The code also seems built to accommodate this.

For my purposes, I just changed "Line 2D Core.cginc" line 126 to divide by 4, which I think looks nice, but it would be nice to have a slider.

you can click the = button to turn off auto-setting them to the same value

I also had to google to find this thread. Might be clearer if you moved the button next to the "spacing" field and perhaps used an icon like this:
